“Meanwhile, registration for MUSDA III PHRI BPD participants in the Riau Islands Province will be closed on September 20, 2021 at 17.00,” he said.
Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the PHRI Kepri Musda, Yeyen Heryawan, explained that the election of a new chairman was in accordance with the Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART) of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) Article 25 Paragraph 1a concerning the Implementation of the Regional Deliberation (MUSDA) which was held once in a year. 5 years.
PHRI BPD Riau Islands Province will hold MUSDA III PHRI BPD Riau Archipelago Province in 2021 as a follow-up to Mandate Letter No.037/SM/BPP-PHRI.XVII/07/2021 concerning the Temporary Head/Caretaker of PHRI BPD Riau Islands Province dated 11 July 2021.
“One of the decisions is the agenda for the MUSDA III PHRI BPD Riau Islands Province to carry out the election of the Chairperson of the PHRI BPD Riau Islands Province for the 2021-2026 period, which is planned for September 2021,” Yeyen said, Monday (23/8).
The implementation of MUSDA III PHRI BPD Riau Islands Province in 2021 will be attended by PHRI Members (Hotels, Restaurants, Tourism Education Institutions, and Companies) Riau Islands who are registered at BPP PHRI and have a valid (valid) STA (Membership Certificate).
Yeyen revealed that the theme chosen at the Musda III PHRI BPD Riau Islands Province was “TOGETHER PHRI MAKES RIAU ISLAND TOURISM REALIZE”, aiming to motivate members to stay enthusiastic in trying to improve Riau Islands tourism, even during this COVID-19 pandemic.
“The hotel and restaurant industry has been severely impacted by a significant decline in occupancy rates, room prices and restaurant visitors during this pandemic,” Yeyen said.
He stated that the PHRI BPD of the Riau Archipelago Province is committed to continuing to help and support members in fighting for all conveniences in running their business, both the convenience of all policies, submission of incentives to the Central or Regional Government as well as applicable rules that can accommodate the interests of PHRI members and holders and other stakeholders.
As well as ensuring that the implementation and implementation of Health Protocols in hotels and restaurants that refer to the Health Protocols from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Regional Governments (Governor Decree/SK Kadisparekraf Riau Islands and Guidelines for the Implementation of Health Protocols issued by the Central PHRI) are carried out in a disciplined manner.
